INET4087: Applied AI and Machine Learning: Cloud Computing Tools and Techniques

This course is a hands-on introduction to the skills and knowledge necessary to understand and apply principles of data engineering, artificial intelligence, and machine-learning tools and techniques, utilizing Amazon AWS as a primary platform. Students will be able to design, implement, and evaluate AI-based solutions, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and standards, with a focus on real-world applications. Students will explore data processing, model training and inference, and AI implementation using industry-standard cloud platforms. Topics include data ingestion, supervised and unsupervised learning, AI-driven analytics, deploying AI solutions at scale, and ethical considerations. prereq: INET 3102
